Buyer Beware,

My suggestions is to avoid these people at all costs.Went to the Hyattsville location yesterday, I  had the internet advertasment in hand for a used 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Daughter test drove the car. We liked the car, told saleman that we would pay cash, did not want to fianance. He was obviously pushing us to take out a loan.  Salesman told us to wait, would get an aprasial for the car we were trading-in. Came back with an appropriate price for trade-in, we were then told that they (the dealership) could not sell the car for the advertised price, we were quoted a price increase of $4000.00, "just because" given a lot of patetic excuses why price increased 4K. They came back after a second and third discussion, and phone calls to the "boss". Best they could do was sell it at the advertised price, but insisted we fianance the car. Needless to say we left and will never return. Worst car buying experience I have ever witnessed. These people are obviously used to dealing with an uniformed or gullable clientele. My advise stay away from Eastern auto group, especially the Hyattsville office.

I now believe all the bad reviews

Saw the vehicle I wished to purchase located in Virginia arranged to be taken to Laurel location. I arrived 10 minutes early and look around the lot about 20 minutes. When I went in and asked for Danny Nguyen the first thing he said I was late then stated that it no longer the price I seen on internet without an explanation. After searching he said the vehicle was never transferred to the location even though I set this up four days in advance to coincide with my work schedule. Rudely he just said come back tomorrow. I should had just walked out but decided to get the negotiating out the way. After appraising my trade in and finding out I was in the negative he attitude was very unprofessional. Not knowing I was pre-approved & had the down payment to cover the difference on what I owe. I just told him I will check elsewhere. Besides my vehicle runs fine I just wanted something newer. He just said I tell the saleman to give you back your keys and walked away. THANK GOD I already had my keys. I don't believe everything I hear & gave it a chance. I will walk with my dog before I go back to this dealership

I actually had a good experience with Easterns motors. They put me in an affordable car right away. They did NOT Put me in a lemon. I Had my car to up to 3 years longest I've ever been in my own vehicle. I Loved the car they gave me. It protected me and my kids. But not NOT HAPPY about them sending 20 inquiries to I guess 20 different lenders. And the APR was skyrocketed. No one else would do a human being with kids like that.

Eastern Motors - Car Review from Glen Burnie, Maryland

Purchased a vehicle from eastern a in Marlowe heights and had the worst experience every. Sales person Dominic was horrible and lazy. They tried to keep my wheels off my trade and it took 2wks before I got them back. Wanted to transfer my tags but that didn't happen because they worked it in the deal some kind of way. The new car did not have a front license mount so I was told after all the deals were closed that I could purchase one and they'll install it. That didn't happen because they didn't have a drill. Marlow heights eastern motors are the worst and I'll never purchase or recommend anyone to that place.

I believe this place is Klan affiliated beware.

Went to Eastern Motors 9950 Washington Blvd Laurel and talk to Lamont and Jesus and explain my situation . instead of Jesus telling me up front that they could not help me.They kept me there over an hour with their non sense.I believe they are affiliated with some not so nice people. because of the way he handle it my loan was approved and Jesus lied about the bank loan. I would think twice before going to there lot again. if u don't mine doing business with untrustworthy people. Eastern motors is Ur place. consumer service is very bad there. Commerial comes on TV where it says your job is your credit that some bull. Because it seems like it's the other way around and there cars are so over priced so buyers beware they are advertising false and misleading information.

Positive Experience Review

I had a very good experience at Easterns Baltimore. My salemans name was Rob Whitley. He's very courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. He took the time out to answer all of our questions during the test drive. Once we purchased our vehicle, he went over all the bells and whistles. I would reccomend Easterns Baltimore and salesman Rob Whitley to anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle!

Eastererns in Laurel MD are very shaddy, they sold me a car that has been in car accident and they did not disclose it, and when I am trying to return the car, they have a freaking attitude. and Now they hold my down payment! I never been rip off with any dealer in my life but here in East Coast- Easterns.

Bought a car from Eastern Motors in Baltimore MD in August 2014. 2 days later had to return the car for a alignment.Then was advised that the 2 rear tires could not have pass inspection. One rear tire was bad.Eastern Motors refused to replace either tire The sale person was great but management there is sorry.These problems was reports to them within 2 days after buying the car. So if you buy a car from Eastern Motors get it inspected yourself.

My husband bought a SUV from them 11 days ago...two days after buying had to take it back for a fuel pump....two days after that the battery died and every day since he has had to jump start it....something is draining the battery so now we have to take it back in for further testing...personally I would never go there for any vehicle...I bought mine from Carmax and have had no trouble at all

Recieved one of those enticing letters too!

I did not take of the numerous mail offers, as I was not pressed for an auto The dealer sends the letter through a partnership with Cap One. Cap One buying center works up the partnership deal with the auto dealer. The approval is base on credit. I voice my concerns to Cap One about not only the bad press on Eastern motors (certainly there are other Auto-dealer, that don't honor premier customer service), but also the Cap One auto finance customer service auto system (when you dial in) directs you to immediately enter the code on the letter or your SSN. I got around that and decline all offers. I voiced my concerns regarding the marketing of auto loans to credit applicants with credit blemishes, in desperation for a car, to these hunger dealer who will do anything to talk someone in to an auto loan which equate to more than their take home annual salary. Advise: Do your home work! Maybe you should complain to the Office of the Inspector General. This kind of marketing from the dealer and Cap One along with the type of credit finagling spells: Class Action Law Suit all over it. Take Care!
